CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Two people were shot, leaving one of them dead on Chicago’s Southwest Side Sunday afternoon.
A man and woman were standing on a sidewalk near 26th and Pulaski, at around 4 p.m., when a dark car drove up and someone inside shot at them.
The 43-year-old man was struck several times and later died at Mount Sinai Hospital. The 41-year-old woman was shot in the leg. She is expected to be ok.
The incident comes though less than 24 hours after 16-year-old Jesus Sanchez was shot and killed just a few blocks away.
No arrests have been made in either case.
