Two suburban Chicago men have been arrested for their alleged involvement in a large-scale cocaine distribution operation.
The DEA says more than 300 pounds of cocaine was seized and two 33-year-old men, Burhan Ozerdinc, of Oak Lawn, and Ahmad Sanducka, of Mount Prospect, were arrested.
Federal agents, working with local police in various jurisdictions, executed several search warrants, including at a home in River Grove.
They also seized 700-thousand dollars in cash.
The value of the cocaine is in the millions.

Sheriff Idleburg commends the hard work of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Group, whose efforts helped lead to a massive drug seizure in northeastern Illinois.
These drugs were destined for communities across the country, including Lake County. The seizure of over 330 pounds of cocaine, worth millions of dollars at street value, and approximately $700,000 in U.S. currency represents a significant disruption to a transnational drug trafficking organization.
From September 14–16, 2026, members of the DEA Chicago Field Division’s Group 31 conducted multiple search warrants at properties throughout northeastern Illinois as part of an ongoing investigation into a transnational criminal organization responsible for moving bulk quantities of narcotics throughout the United States.
The investigation resulted in the seizure of the cocaine and approximately $700,000 in cash. Two individuals were arrested and face charges in Cook County.
A Lake County Sheriff’s Office detective assigned to the DEA Chicago Field Division as a Task Force Officer was among the lead investigating agents in this case.
