(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Police in west suburban Oak Brook are asking the public for help as they continue searching for a suspected gunman in a shootout at Oakbrook Center Mall late last week.

The exchange of gunfire Thursday evening at Oakbrook Center Mall left four people wounded, including one of the suspected shooters.

Oakbrook Police Chief James Kruger said two men began shooting at each other near the mall’s Ann Taylor store.

None of the injuries suffered by the four wounded people were believed to be life-threatening.

The second shooting suspect is still at-large, police have said. Oak Brook police circulated surveillance images of a long-haired adult male who was wearing a blue puffy winter coat.

Anyone who saw the shooting is asked to email authorities at Police-TipLine@oak-brook.org.
