(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- To help people reduce stress and anxiety related to the pandemic, the College of DuPage is offering a course on ways to cope.
The four-week virtual course teaches something called "Koru Mindfulness."
Kate Szetela teaches the course. Incorporating some meditation, she said the techniques will help people relax their minds and get better sleep.
"The goal is to incorporate that in your life and practice for 10 minutes a day," she said.
The virtual course begins Jan. 5. It's free, but students will have to buy the Koru app for around $4.
Space is limited, but Szetela expects more classes to be added if there's enough demand.
