PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WIS. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Two men from Illinois are in custody Monday morning after a wild police chase in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

The car was stolen in Lake County Illinois and traveling along Green Bay Road.

Police had to use stop sticks twice to deflate the car’s tires. However, that didn’t stop the chase. It took additional squad cars to slow the driver down.

He eventually hit a police car, lost control, and crashed into a tree.

Officers arrested the driver and a passenger. The driver had minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital and medically cleared.

Both were taken into custody and face several charges.
