More than a thousand people turned out on a cold Sunday afternoon at Chicago's Daley Plaza to support Ukraine.
They held flags of Ukraine in the United States. They held signs denouncing Russia and Vladimir Putin. Participants had family in Ukraine who they had recently spoke with.
"We should care uust as much about all the refugees from war torn countries from Syria from Afghanistan, and we should allow them to stay here," said Congressman Mike Quigley.

Demonstrators called for boycotts of U.S. companies doing business in Russia, and said a no-fly zone over Ukraine would ensure Ukrainian troops defeat Russian troops on the ground.
