Darcy is a 3-year-old, female Pinscher, Doberman, Retriever, Labrador mix. She weighs 69 pounds.
PAWS Chicago said the name “Darcy” is fitting for this soft-spoken, beautiful brown Lab mix because of the Irish, Gaelic meaning “dark one.” Her brown coat is perfect for soaking up the sun, as she loves to bask in the rays while lounging on the porch. She also likes to spend her time sniffing and trotting around looking for her next place to nap.

PAWS Chicago said when they say Darcy is soft spoken, they mean she barely speaks. Her foster parents are not even sure what her bark sounds like. She can be timid around new people, places, and things, and needs time to warm up before she can get comfortable. Once she’s settled in, she’ll be back to her happy go lucky self again in no time!

3. Finally, complete PAWS Chicago's Foster Pet Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, the Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and, if they have next steps, reach out within a few days.
