(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The city of Chicago will be doing some repairs and maintenance on the plaza that surrounds the shiny sculpture known as “The Bean” in Millennium Park.
Beginning Tuesday, public access and viewing will be limited until the work is completed next spring.
The Bean – formally known as “Cloud Gate,” by artist Anish Kapoor -- is the No. 1 attraction in the Midwest. The upcoming work includes replacing nearby pavers, along with other repairs and accessibility upgrades.
