Police seek suspect who sexually abused woman in Loop

(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A man is accused of sexually abusing a woman in October on a street in the Loop.

Authorities are seeking to identify the man who they say chased a woman onto the street in the area of the 100 block of East Lake Street, where he sexually abused her about 6:50 a.m. Oct. 29, according to Chicago police.

Minutes earlier, he approached another woman in the 100 block of North Wabash Avenue but the woman dodged him and escaped, police said.

He wore a gray skull cap, a red scarf, a gray shirt with a black jacket, black pants and black shoes during the alleged offense, police said.
