FLOSSMOOR (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police are investigating a reported sexual assault during a class at Homewood-Flossmoor High School.
A 17-year-old girl reported that she was in theater class and rehearsing some lines with a male student. They were away from the rest of the class.
The girl’s mother told CBS-2, she was sexually assaulted.
"We do know that, 110%, that this was not consensual. She said no,” the mother said. How am I sending her somewhere and she's in class? We didn't say before class, the hallway, after school - during class," the mother said.
She said she’s furious.
“Where is the teacher?” she asked.
“We are aware of an alleged assault involving two students on campus Monday morning. The school is fully cooperating with the law enforcement investigation," a letter sent to parents read, in part.
