
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A man is clinging to life in the hospital after a bizarre attack in the South Loop Monday this morning.
Chicago police said a 62-year-old man was riding a bike on the sidewalk near Cermak and State Street at around 1 a.m. when a man hit him with a construction sign and then with the victim’s bike. Paramedics took him to the hospital initially in critical condition.
There’s no word of what may have prompted the attack.
No one is in custody.
