Navy Pier Pumpkin Lights

The theme is Halloween this weekend, starting with the ongoing spooky spectacles at Navy Pier. See nearly a thousand glowing pumpkins spread out across the Pier's outdoor facilities while enjoying seasonal festivities for the whole family.

Logan Square Halloween Parade

Watch the Logan Square Halloween Parade on Sunday, which touts some of the best costumed kids and adults from around the neighborhood. You'll also see punk rock marching band Mucca Pazza leading the festivities and providing the spooky soundtrack.

Chicago Gangsters and Ghosts Tours

Take a ghost-and gangster-themed walking tour this weekend that mixes historical facts with ghost stories. See former gangster hangouts, haunted sites and learn about Chicago in the roaring 1920s.

Windy City Playhouse Presents Southern Gothic

If you're looking for a different decade, grab your 1960s-inspired costume and head to Windy City Playhouse for weekend performances of the smash immersive hit "Southern Gothic".

Urban Growers Collective Harvest Fest

It's the end of farmers market season. Head to the South Side for Urban Growers Collective's Harvest Fest at Schafer Park. You'll find pumpkin painting, apple cider and a Trunk or Treat event on Saturday starting at 1 p.m.
