CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The latest Chicago Bears stadium legislation filed Thursday would make tickets cost more at the teams' proposed Arlington Heights site.

All tickets to games and other events at the Bears’ proposed suburban development would come with a $3 tax.

The Chicago Tribune reports proceeds from the admission tax would go to the City of Chicago to help pay off debt the Park District incurred to fund renovations of Soldier Field two decades ago.

State Representative Marty Moylan said one of the goals of the bill is to gain support from Chicago lawmakers who are reluctant to back a Bears move.
