CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A shooting at a Taco Bell in Chicago’s Loop sent two men to the hospital early Saturday morning, police said.
It was a little after midnight when police said someone on the sidewalk fired shots through the glass doors of a Taco Bell Cantina, located on North Wabash Avenue near East Lake Street.
A 31-year-old man who was inside the restaurant was hit in the leg, and a 40-year-old man was hit in the shoulder.
Police said both were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition.
No one is in custody, and the circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated by Area Three detectives.
Surveillance cameras in the area — and there are many — will be part of the investigation.
