29-year-old Abel Rosales Ventura faces three felony counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault.
The DuPage County State’s Attorney's Office says on June 21st, Rosales Ventura in his apartment grabbed a friend by her neck until she passed out.
Later, in his car, Rosales Ventura allegedly sexually assaulted the woman while her son was in the back of the car.
Prosecutors say Rosales Ventura fled to Morristown, Tennessee where he was captured on June 25th.
He then was extradited to the DuPage County Jail.
This week, a judge granted the State’s motion to deny pre-trial release for Rosales Ventura.
