CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A woman was killed when she collided with a semi on Interstate 55 near Back of the Yards on the South Side Monday.
A semi truck was northbound on I-55 near Loomis Street and had slowed down because of traffic ahead when the woman, 35, crashed into the back of the truck, Illinois State police said.
Tricia Hernandez of Elwood was pronounced dead at the scene, state police said.
