Furniture Bank of Metro Detroit: 1,000 Beds Challenge

Across Metro Detroit, too many children face bedtime without a bed to call their own. The Furniture Bank’s 1,000 Beds Challenge aims to change that — one bed at a time.

From Monday, November 10 - December 31, 2025 Furniture Bank of Metro Detroit's goal is to fund 1,000 complete twin bed sets — including a new mattress, foundation, pillow, and bedding.

Every child deserves the comfort, safety, and dignity of a bed of their own. Your gift provides more than furniture. It provides dignity, comfort, and a good night’s sleep.
