Coop is a proud father of 3 kids (Jude, Lennon, and Cash) who are all under the age of 7, and the proud hubby to his wife, Kimberly whom he met while working in radio 10+ years ago.
His love and passion for Country Music started early at the age while listening to George Strait and Garth Brooks with his parents in the car, from there it turned into an all-out obsession. “I remember literally waiting for hours outside of a concert, because all we could afford was lawn seats, and we’d run as soon as they opened up the gates to make sure we were as close as we could be to EVERY act that came to town.”
Since getting into radio at the age of 15, Coop has been lucky enough to talk to most of Country Music’s biggest stars, including Garth Brooks, Reba, Sam Hunt, Trisha Yearwood, and more. When Coop is not literally living out his dream on the radio each day, he is hanging out with his wife and kiddos at home.
“My wife and I LOVE a good Netflix binge.” Watching shows like “Tiger King”, “Stranger Things” and “Selling Sunset”. Coop also loves to cook and calls it the job he’d have if he didn’t end up in radio, cooking dinner for the family of five every night and coming up with cool new recipes.
Weekends are spent usually doing something with the kids (outside when the weather permits) and of course sharing his love of music, and Country Music with them as often as possible.
Sarah Thomas was born and raised in Metro-Detroit and started working in radio when she was a teenager. She attended MSU and Oakland University and has worked in Detroit radio for 20 years.
She spends her free time with her family & friends, floating in her condo complex's pool & hot tub (often times with beer and hard seltzers), being amused with her pet frog, Dolly (named after Dolly Parton), wearing various onesies, and she is known to buy things in hoarding amounts when she finds a good deal.
Sarah is a hometown girl who loves everything about Michigan. She also has worked on several international television shows and movies, most of them shot right here in Michigan. She loves every aspect of country radio, from the down-to-earth listeners she considers friends, to the artists who always remember you and make you feel at home, to the amazing music that unites us all.
