A 96-year-old World War II veteran, and Chick-Fil-A regular, was in the need of help when he stopped by for his regular chicken biscuits and coffee.
Rudy Somoza, a manager of the Chick-Fil-A in Severn, Maryland, said to CNN that the WWII veteran, known to everyone as Mr. Lee, “was shaking, almost in tears saying he barely made it to the store on three tires because it was so bad.”
Mr. Lee told Daryl Howard, another manager of the store, that he did not have anyone to help change his tire.
Instantly, Daryl told Somoza that he needed to step outside to help.
For the next fifteen minutes, Howard changed Mr. Lee’s tire, and Somoza took a photo to share the good deed.
"His action of kindness was beautiful. Daryl has always been so helpful to anyone in need and deserves this recognition," Somoza said.
