A recent survey on Express.Co.Uk asked 1,000 kids between 6 and 16 which rules they'd like to implement at dinner.  And it ended up being a list of rules they'd like to get RID of.  Here are the top ten . . .

1.  You can leave the table and don't have to wait until everyone else is done.  They also said dinner should last no more than 30 minutes.

2.  You can eat in front of the TV if you want to.

3.  They get to choose how much food goes on their plate.

4.  You can have whatever you want to drink, including soda.

5.  You can eat dinner in your pajamas.

6. Everyone gets to choose what they want to eat. So, separate dinners.

7.  They can play their music if they want to.

8.  You can have dessert at any point, not just after the meal.

9.  Phones are allowed at the table.

10.  Silverware is optional, so you can eat anything with your hands.

The survey also found moms are the best cooks . . . while dads are more likely to burn something.  And the top foods kids want for dinner are:  Pizza, burgers, and chicken nuggets.
