NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A stranger slashed a 14-year-old boy in the face by a stranger in Brooklyn Saturday evening, authorities said.

The incident occurred near 1113 Rutland Road in Brownsville where the teen and his brother were walking around 5:40 p.m., police said.
According to cops, a man dressed in a black hoodie and mask, approached the two boys and flashed a “sharp object,” officials said.
The suspect then slashed the teen’s left cheek before fleeing the scene. He was taken to Maimonides Hospital in stable condition.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
