The NYPD released surveillance images showing the suspect in last Monday’s carjacking in the Parkchester section.

The woman was in a parked and running black Honda sedan at Starling and Olmstead avenues waiting for her husband to return from a nearby pharmacy when the carjacker hopped into the vehicle around 4:45 p.m.

The thief hit the gas and drove southbound on Olmstead Avenue. As the car was moving, he told the woman to get out, police said.

The woman opened the door and jumped from the vehicle. She suffered minor injuries, police said.

The carjacker, who investigators believe is in his 20s, fled southbound on Unionport Road and then westbound on the Cross Bronx Expressway.

Police said the stolen car contained multiple cellphones, three tablets, a laptop and $800 cash.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
