NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- The NYPD released video Thursday of a scooter rider wanted for slashing a gas station worker in the face in Hell’s Kitchen this week.

The 28-year-old employee was working at the Mobil at W. 51st Street and 11th Avenue Tuesday evening when the two men got into an argument.

During the dispute, the attacker whipped out a sharp object and slashed the worker on the right side of his face, according to police.

He then took off on a scooter that was last seen headed south on 11th Avenue.

New video appears to show the suspect, clad in biker garb, talking with someone on a tablet at the gas station around the time of the assault.

The worker was transported to Mount Sinai West, where he was in stable condition.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
