
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for two men who robbed four people in back-to-back Jackson Heights robberies.
The pair grabbed a 47-year-old man around 2 p.m. on March 30 as he walked down 37th Road near 74th Street. They stole his wallet with $40 inside and pushed him into a wall before fleeing into a black sedan.
Less than an hour later, they targeted a 54-year-old man on 72nd Street near 35th Street in Jackson Heights and punched him in the face before making off with his wallet that only had identification and credit cards inside.
Around 3:50 p.m., they grabbed a 22-year-old man at 148th Street and 60th Avenue and stole his wallet to the tune of $11. They again fled in the black sedan.
EMS treated the man for a minor hand injury on the scene.
At 4:30 p.m., the persistent thieves started punching and kicking a 49-year-old man near the intersection of Penrod Street and Otis Avenue
They stole his wallet with about $800 in it before fleeing in the black sedan.
The victim suffered minor injuries but refused medical attention on scene.
Police believe the duo may also be responsible for another robbery that took place in Queensboro Hill four days before the Jackson Heights robbery spree.
On March 26 around 6:50 a.m., a pair of men stole a 52-year-old man’s wallet with $600 inside on 59th Avenue near 153rd Street.
