
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man was shot to death on Monday after a dispute with another man on a Bronx street, and police are searching for the suspects responsible.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. when the 29-year-old victim was walking at the corner of Van Nest Avenue and Melville Street with another man, police said.
During a verbal dispute, the suspect, who was with a woman, shot the man in the chest and then fled the scene, according to officials.
The victim was taken to New York City Health and Hospitals/Jacobi where he was pronounced dead.
The man police are searching for is described as having a dark complexion, in his mid-20’s with a medium build while the woman is described as having a medium complexion, in her mid-20’s with a heavy build and black hair.
