
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released photos of a group wanted for using a metal cane to beat a man on a Bronx street last month.
At approximately 8:20 p.m., on Thursday, April 27, the 20-year-old victim was waiting in front of 3031 Cruger Ave. in Williamsbridge when he was surrounded by six males, officials said.
The group began to punch and kick the victim multiple times in the body and head. One suspect also struck the victim in the head multiple times with a metal cane, police said.
The suspects fled on foot with the victim’s cellphone, heading into the Burke Avenue Train Station.
The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.
