The body was discovered by officers responding to a call around 12:30 p.m. at the home on Richmond Terrace, near Morningstar Road, in Elm Park.

A contractor came across the body wrapped in a blanket while cleaning up the home, according to police.

A source said the body was found in a cluttered “hoarder’s room.”

The body was “highly decomposed,” and the person has not yet been identified, police said.

The medical examiner will work to determine how the person died.
