NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A 75-year-old woman died Friday after she was struck by a dump truck and a Jeep in Coney Island and neither driver stopped to help her, police said.
The victim was crossing West 6th Street at Shell Road at 10:30 a.m. when she was struck by the dump truck.
Moments later, she was struck a second time by a black Jeep, according to police, who said the victim was pronounced dead at the intersection.
Neither driver remained at the scene, police said.
No arrests have been reported as of Friday.
