EAST BRUNSWICK (1010 WINS) — A 15-year-old girl was arrested for a shooting and a string of sneaker robberies in East Brunswick last weekend, the East Brunswick Police Department said Sunday.
The minor allegedly fired shots at a group of people and robbed three others of their sneakers along Route 18 on May 13.
Police responded to a report of gunfire at the Brunswick Square Mall that day and received a separate report of three gunpoint sneaker robberies.
Officers arrested the girl, whose identity was not released due to her age, on Thursday.
Prosecutors charged her with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, robbery and weapons offenses.
She’s being held at the Middlesex County Juvenile Detention Center.
