Mauricio Calderon pleaded guilty to distribution of child pornography for images and videos he sent in March and April of 2020.
Authorities say he used encrypted internet applications to distribute the child pornography in chatrooms.
Police also found videos and images of child sexual abuse on his electronic devices when they arrested him at his home in Sept. 2020.
In addition to his 135-month prison sentence, a federal judge sentenced him to 10 years supervised release.
