NEWARK, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A 14-year-old boy was critically injured after being shot in New Jersey on Sunday, authorities said.
The incident happened just after 5:22 p.m., on Boyd Street near Central High School in Newark, officials said.
The teen was transported to University Hospital for treatment in critical condition.
An investigation remains ongoing.
