Dawgnation’s Connor Riley joined Dukes & Bell for his weekly appearance and talked about which former dawg could raise their draft stock at the NFL combine and pro day workouts.

When asked which UGA player could raise their stock at the combine later this month.

“Travon Walker, only six sacks last season but his athleticism is off the charts, a guy at 6’5 270lbs was on Georgia’s kickoff team as a freshman and continued to be there throughout his career,” Riley said. “A guy that scouts are gonna get a look at him at Indianapolis later this month and just think of all the things he could possibly do, at Georgia was asked to play a role where he was not asked to get after the passer as much as Aidan Hutchinson at Michigan or Kayvon Thibodeaux at Oregon.”

Riley said Walker’s best football is still ahead of him.

“I still believe his best football is still ahead of him, a guy who is absolutely going to blow scouts away with his athleticism, with his short area quickness and what he is able to do, so the name to know from an athletic standpoint. You’ve seen some scouts list him as a fringe first round draft pick, I think if he goes out and does what I expect him to do, because in high school this is a guy who was on a state champion basketball team and an all-state track performer, a true athlete, three syllables there, so I think Travon Walker is going to be someone we’re all talking about.”
