PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – The captain’s career highlight reel just got another clip.

Sidney Crosby grabbed a stick off the bench and put the Pens in the lead 1-0 during the second period at PPG Paints Arena Thursday night.

Scoreless five minutes into the second period, Brian Dumoulin broke his stick in the defensive zone.

Crosby handed his stick to Dumoulin and as Kris Letang gathered the puck and headed into the Flyers zone, a stickless Crosby headed to the bench.

Long-time Pens equipment man Jon Taglianetti, son of Peter, reached out over the bench and Crosby, son of Troy, grabbed the stick in full sprint.

Sid headed for the goal, grabbed the rebound from the Letang shot and put it home.

Just when you thought you had seen Crosby do everything.
