Arrest made after shots fired in Upstate parking garage

It was a chaotic scene when a suspect opened fire on a group of people in an Upstate parking garage. The Clemson Police Department says the shooting happened in the Keith Street Parking Garage, around 2AM Friday.

Police say, a fight broke out and the suspect 23 year old Gavin Lamar Tukes reportedly fired over a dozen times. Tukes fled the scene in a vehicle and was later arrested by the Seneca Police Department.


He's charged with attempted murder, shooting into an occupied dwelling and a weapons violation. Officials say no injuries were reported in the incident.
