We are starting to enter what the Internet calls “Cuffing Season,” where single folks look for a short-term romantic partner they can cozy up with in these cold winter months.
It’s basically like an Airbnb, but for your love life.
If you happen to be single, and are looking to find a romantic partner soon, hopefully you don’t live in Grand Prairie.
The city was just named one of the worst cities for Singles in a survey conducted by WalletHub.
Grand Prairie ranked 177 out of the 182 cities listed in the survey, which were ranked based on 35 key indicators of “dating-friendliness,” which included the share of the population that is single, to the number of online dating opportunities, to the average price for a two-person meal.
The only Texas town to make the top ten best cities for singles was Austin at No. 6.
Houston came in at No. 46, Lubbock at No. 52, Corpus Christi at No. 68, San Antonio at No. 73, El Paso at No. 83, Dallas at No. 88, Amarillo No. 110, Fort Worth No. 126, Irving No. 139, Arlington No. 144, Plano at No. 150, Laredo at No. 163, Garland at No. 171, and Brownsville was named No. 182, the absolute worst city in the U.S. for singles.
