Most likely, we’ve all been on the receiving end of a drunk text in the middle of a night. Chances are high that you’ve sent a drunk text in the middle of the night.
They can be embarrassing, but more often than not that’s all they are. Embarrassing.
Unfortunately for Kristin McCarley, a real estate agent from East Texas, a drunk text she received a few weekends ago had very real consequences.
McCarley posted a TikTok revealing that she had been let go from her job, via a drunk text she received from her boss at 10:36pm!
The text read, “Do not come in on Monday. I’ve mage changes to the office. I have to let you go.”
According to NY Post, the video, which has since amassed 1.6 million views, attracted the attention of many social media users who encouraged McCarley to go to her company’s HR department, or even a lawyer.
