If there is a new cooking show coming to television, chances are high that Gordon Ramsey is involved with it somehow.

Next month, the Gordon Ramsey-led Next Level Baker will be debuting on FOX and will feature two competitors from right here in North Texas!

Maricsa Trejo of La Casita Bakeshop and Nikki Jackson of Absolutely Edible Cakes and Catering will be competing on the show, which premieres December 4.

Trejo has competed in two other cooking competition shows, Chopped and Food Network’s Halloween Baking Championship, but she said this one came with an added degree of pressure.

She told the Dallas Morning News, “I was freaking out.  I was baking for Gordon Ramsey. Standing in front of him, I felt like I couldn’t say anything, and I’m not one who struggles to talk.”

Jackson echoed the pressure, admitting that she was feeling nervous, too.  “I was scared to death‚” she said. “I’ve watched Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares, of course I was nervous. I’m still nervous!”

The first episode of the three-week Next Level Baker special will air Dec. 4, 2025, at 8 p.m. on FOX, and will be available to stream the following day on Hulu.
