A Natrona Heights man will spend time in prison following a conviction of Possession of Material Depicting the Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.

Stephen Kaufman, Acting United States Attorney Western District of Pennsylvania, made the announcement Thursday.

Information presented in court showed that on October 12, 2018, 43-year-old Jack Ulrich, Jr. had more than 100 photo and video computer files that depicted minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Some of the children were under the age of 12.

He admitted to possessing and sharing the materials via various digital platforms including Facebook and Dropbox.

Ulrich was already a registered sex offender after a 2006 conviction of a sex offense involving minors.

The judge sentenced Ulrich to 10 years in prison.
