Ask the Expert: Why are RSV cases on the rise in the South?

RSV, is a common respiratory virus that usually causes mild, cold-like symptoms. Most people recover in a week or two, but RSV can be serious, especially for infants and older adults. In the past week, the CDC has released a health advisory about an increase of the illness in kids in the South.

On Ask the Expert, Dr. Christy Sadreameli, with the American Lung Association joined KRLDs Kristin Diaz and David Rancken about what RSV stands for and how it affect our little ones.
