There was a spectacular big-rig fire in Arlington this morning, causing quite a backup.
Just past 2:00 a.m. the semi crashed and burned on east-bound I-20 just past Kelly Elliott. The flames and smoke could be seen from quite a distance.
In the back-up, there was another crash just adding to the confusion.
Police managed to keep a couple of lanes open during the clean-up and investigation so drivers were able to squeeze by. But even four hours later, traffic was backed up to Highway 287.
Despite the crashes and fire, no injuries have been reported.
