GRAND PRAIRIE (1080 KRLD) - Firefighters in Grand Prairie act quickly to put out a fire at a home.
The fire at the home on Vega St. broke out shortly after 6:30 Thursday morning.
A man was rescued, as well as some pets.
"There were three dogs that were rescued from this fire, as well as the human victim," says Capt. James Purdom. "The dogs are doing well; they're in the care of another family member."
The man pulled from the house is at Parkland's burn unit.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
