HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610)- As he approached third base while trotting around the bases after driving a Zack Greinke changeup 419 feet, Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge looked at his dugout and held his jersey shut.

"Whenever they keep the roof closed here it's pretty chilly, so I was just letting my team know to button up a little bit," Judge explained.

Judge's response drew audible chuckles from those on his postgame Zoom call because logic says he was taking a shot at Astros second baseman Jose Altuve, who did the same thing when he approached home plate after his pennant clinching homer in game six of the 2019 American League Championship Series.

Altuve held his jersey shut as a message to his teammates not to rip it off during the celebration. The video of that gesture went viral in wake of the Astros sign stealing scandal and Altuve was accused of wearing buzzer, a claim that he has vehemently denied.

Altuve was not made available to reporters after Saturday's game or before Sunday's, but his manager Dusty Baker wasn't happy with what Judge did.

"I noticed what he did," Baker said. "That was wrong. That's my homeboy, but that's wrong, but they can do what they want to do."

Judge finished second to Altuve for the 2017 American League MVP. Sunday is the last time the Astros and Yankees play during the 2021 regular season.
