(SportsRadio 610) -- With the Bills eliminated from the playoffs, defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier turns his attention to a potential head coaching job in Houston.

Frazier is scheduled to interview in person with the Texans on Tuesday. He is one of three candidates, along with former Lions and Colts coach Jim Caldwell and Ravens wide receiver coach David Culley, to get a second interview.

Caldwell interviewed once before general manager Nick Caserio was hired earlier this month and took over the search. He interviewed again last week.

After Frazier's interview Tuesday, the Texans are set to interview Culley on Wednesday.

Since it appears Frazier is under heavy consideration, here are five things to know about the former Vikings' head coach.

He's a champion

Frazier has two Super Bowl rings, one as a player with the 85 Bears and one as Tony Dungy’s assistant head coach in Indy.

You can Frazier in the background of the Super Bowl Shuffle video wearing jersey No. 21 and he suffered a career-ending knee injury in the Super Bowl.

He’s from the Andy Reid coaching tree ...

And a defensive mind who has been a pivotal part of Buffalo’s recent success.

Frazier’s first NFL coaching job was as Reid’s DB coach in Philadelphia from 1999-2002. He has spent the last four years in Buffalo as Sean McDermott’s defensive coordinator and assistant head coach. McDermott was also a member of Reid’s staff in Philly with Frazier.

Frazier has been an NFL head coach before.

Frazier was 21-32-1 (0-1) as the Minnesota head coach from 2010-2013.

However, anyone you talk to that has played for him or coached with him insists he deserves another chance as a head coach and most importantly, Frazier himself has said publicly he learned a ton the first time around and that his past experience has made him better equipped to lead an NFL team.

He has ties to others who interviewed with the Texans for the head coach opening.

Frazier coached with Jim Caldwell in Indianapolis from 2005-2006 and was the defensive coordinator in Tampa Bay in 2014 when Josh McCown was on the roster.

Both Caldwell and McCown interviewed with the Texans.

One of the most appealing things about Frazier is all of the connections he has around the league and what his coaching staff will look like. Could Caldwell and/or McCown be possibilities?

Also keep in mind, Frazier is another client to agent Bob LaMonte, who also represents Caserio, executive vice president of football operations Jack Easterby and offensive coordinator Tim Kelly.

He is 61 years old, but there are six older current NFL coaches.

Frazier turns 62 on April 3, but there are

There are six head coaches older than him:

- Pete Carroll, 69
- Bill Belichick, 68
- Bruce Arians, 68
- Mike Zimmer, 64
- Andy Reid, 62
- Vic Fangio, 62
