Pro Football Focus recently listed the Commanders’ top three building blocks for the franchise, so The Sports Junkies took their shots as guessing who the three picks were.
“McLaurin, Dotson, Emmanuel Forbes,” were EB’s picks.
“First-round picks gotta hit,” EB said of Forbes.
Montez Sweat was another name thrown around, while Cakes mentioned Kamren Curl as a possibility. Daron Payne was another candidate, but it was revealed that PFF’s list included McLaurin, Dotson, and Jonathan Allen.
“I have no problem putting two receivers on the list,” EB said. “You have to put the ball in the end zone and you have to score, and they’ve been able to do that with bad quarterback play. Imagine them with middle-of-the-road quarterback play?”
