
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A 45-year-old man and 5-year-old child were injured Wednesday afternoon when the car they were in rolled over in front of a home in Logan Square.
Chicago police said the man was driving a Honda Accord on Chicago’s Northwest Side around 12:30 p.m. when he might have experienced a medical episode.
The vehicle struck multiple fences before flipping over and landing on its hood in front of a house near West Schubert and North Central Park Avenues.
Authorities said the man was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in critical condition.
The 5-year-old was taken to Lurie Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
