2 boys shot in legs in E. Harlem, reportedly by woman who fled scene

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two teen boys were shot and wounded at a public housing complex in East Harlem on Wednesday night, police said as they search for the shooter, who is reportedly a woman twice their age.

The boys, both 15 years old, suffered gunshot wounds to their legs in the shooting around 8:50 p.m. at the East River Houses, near E. 105th Street and First Avenue.

One victim was shot in his left leg and the other was shot in his right leg, police said.

Both victims were taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition.

A third person was injured by shattered glass, according to multiple reports.

Citizen App video shows cops canvassing the area overnight as police search for a suspect who fled the scene.

The suspect is a blonde woman wearing a blue shirt, according to the Daily News. The woman reportedly fled with a male accomplice after shooting the boys.
