Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills were back on the practice field on Wednesday, as the team continues to prepare for their final preseason game this Saturday against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.
LISTEN LIVE TO WGR:
A number of injured players were able to return to the field on Wednesday, including linebacker Terrel Bernard and defensive tackle Eli Ankou. Bernard did not take any individual position work, but did join the defense when they weren’t going up against the offense.
There was also a bit of a scare early at practice with guard Connor McGovern, going down briefly with, what appeared to be, an injury to his right knee. Trainers looked over McGovern, but the veteran never left the field. He did not take any more reps after that point, though.
Players who missed Wednesday's session included quarterback Matt Barkley (elbow), linebacker Dorian Williams (calf), wide receiver Khalil Shakir (ribs), defensive end Leonard Floyd and running back Jordan Mims.
