After digging themselves in an early 21-3 hole in the second quarter, Joe Burrow and co. mounted an epic comeback to beat the Kansas City Chiefs in overtime, 27-24, courtesy of a 31-yard game-winning field goal from Evan McPherson.

The 25-year-old completed 23-of-38 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns, throwing an interception, and also rushed for 25 yards to help the Bengals reach their first Super Bowl appearance since the 1988 season.

Burrow, of course, is the face of this turnaround for a franchise that was 2-14 when they drafted him two years ago after he led LSU to a national championship.

After winning the AFC North this season, the Bengals entered the playoffs having not won a single postseason game since the 1990 season.

By coming back to beat Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in Arrowhead, the feat left almost every NFL fan and media personality in disbelief.

The Bengals will go on to face Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI on Sunday, Feb. 13 after they beat the San Francisco 49ers, 20-17 at SoFi Stadium.
