OAKLAND COUNTY (WWJ) - Michigan State Police has launched an investigation after a deceased man was found in a Groveland Township home Saturday afternoon.
Troopers made the discovery around 2:45 p.m. when they were dispatched to a residence on the 6500 block of Hillcrest Drive.
MSP said the body of a man was found when troopers entered the home while conducting a welfare check,

The cause of death remains under investigation.
MSP did not release the name of the deceased male and no other information was made available at this time.
In an update Monday, MSP said the investigation is "still very active" and they had determined it was not a random incident. Police did not provide any other updates.
