DETROIT (WWJ) -- Prosecutors are hoping to prove that a Detroit man pre-planned the murder of a 25-year-old Detroit woman.
Authorities announced Tuesday that Devin Greenlaw has been charged in the fatal shooting of Denisha Holloway, the morning of Saturday, April 30.
According to Detroit Police, the shooting happened at around 10 a.m. in Holloway's apartment in the 16500 block of Schaefer Hwy., near McNichols on the city's northwest side.
Police said the shooter fled the scene, and they initially were unsure whether or not Holloway knew her killer.
Following an investigation, Greenlaw was identified as a suspect in the killing and was arrested.
Officials said Greenlaw was arraigned Tuesday on charges of first-degree premediated murder and felony firearm.
He was ordered held without bond, and remanded to the Wayne County Jail.
Police did not release any further details, including about a possible motive for the slaying.
